The Austin EMS Association proudly represents the medics of Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) - a team of highly trained professionals dedicated to providing life-saving care and emergency medical response to the residents and visitors of Austin and Travis County.

Since 1992 the Austin EMS Association has worked to improve the lives of our members while upholding our commitment to the community’s health and safety. Our members are on the front lines providing critical emergency medical care, rescue and tactical operations, public healthcare, and support for public events. We advocate for the professional, personal, and financial well-being of our medics so they can continue to serve our community with excellence.

Behind the scenes

Meet Our Board

Our Executives and Board of Directors volunteer to represent our association members. Officers serve 1–2 year terms with elections held in November. Aside from the monthly board meeting, officers volunteer their free time attending city council meetings and community events, and serve as committee chairs working on improving the lives of both association members and the community we are sworn to help.
